I didn’t expect to find myself a divorced, single mom living in the South with decimated finances and a rescued boxer named Wylie. I was a Midwesterner with a thriving business, a twenty-year marriage and Labradors. I’m a maker. I’ve always made things: art quilts, businesses, photographs, logos, product designs, websites, curriculum, retreats and writings. But, at this point, I’d just made a mess. In the process of rebuilding my world, I’ve realized a few things.
- I’m the author of my own future, with both the freedom and responsibility that brings.
- Every one of us can live a better story.
- Life, in all it’s messiness, is meant to be shared.
So, here’s the thing. As I walk [skip, drag myself, run, collapse, crawl, dance and hike] this pathway, I’m going to share it here. If you’re a dreamer, a doer, a maker, a thinker, a lover, a builder, a learner…if you’re ready to enter the arena in your own life and explore, connect and grow. Then, come along! Share the journey with me.
